    Aside from Photoshop and Flash, Adobe has had a hard time maintaining any traction. Premiere has all but vanished. After Effects is attacked on all fronts. Dreamweaver and CF are slipping away. Nothing else is much worth mentioning.

    Given the maturity of their primary platforms, it gets harder and harder for users to justify upgrade costs and for me to justify an up vote (or a purchase).

    With Flash 9 and now Flash 10, you can make games on par with the Nintendo DS. We're seeing a huge shift in the quality of games right now because of Adobe, though whether they can sell more copies of Flash because of this is questionable. Still, Photoshop is probably on the top of my list for must-have apps.
