User Guide

Step-by-step guide to using Piqqem

  1. Find a stock

Find a stock you'd like to make a prediction on by entering its name into the search field on the upper right of every page, going to Predict --> Lists and choosing a list you're interested in, or just going with the Piqq of the day on the homepage.

  2. Vote on it

Vote on whether you think a stock will go up or down. Click on whichever of the 5 icons best represents your sentiment:

    • red double down-arrow = strongly negative sentiment
    • red single down-arrow = negative sentiment
    • yellow disc = neutral sentiment
    • green single up-arrow = positive sentiment
    • green double up-arrow = strongly positive sentiment

Note that now, only after making your vote, you can see what the crowd thinks about that particular stock.

  3. Make your Take

A User Take is a short comment on how you feel about a particular stock. Submit your take by typing it into the text box asking you to "Share your Take."

  4. Move on

Move onto another stock, by clicking on the "previous" and "next" arrows under the User Takes text box, clicking on the name of a stock wherever you see it, searching for a stock in the search box in the upper right, finding an interesting list of stocks in Predict --> Lists, or voting on indexes at Predict --> Indices. Then repeat steps 1-3.

  5. Track your predictions

Go to Home --> My Piqqs to view a table with all your predictions, and compare them to Crowd Sentiment and actual market outlook. You can sort the columns by name, ticker symbol, outlook by date, Crowd Sentiment, your Quick Piqq, and/or expiration date, and check if any of your Piqqs are nearing their expiration date. Piqqem will also send you messages when your Piqqs are nearing their expiration date.

  6. Track the wisdom of the Piqqem crowd

Go to Wisdom and check out the lists of Crowd Sentiment, such as Top Rated (the 10 stocks voted most favorably by Piqqem users) and Chatty (the 10 stocks with the most User Takes).

  7. Venture forth and Piqq away!
